Q: How do I place an order? A: Please check my availability on the Inquiry tab above and if the date you'd like is available then fill out the custom order form linked to the bottom of that page.
Q: How far in advance should I book my custom order? A: It’s never too early! I tend to book at least 4-6 weeks in advance, sometimes further. I always suggest that as soon as yu know the date of your event – contact me! If you have questions about my availability please check the Inquiry tab and then fill out an order form. I do need a minimum of two weeks notice for custom cookie orders. Orders requested after the two week notice time period will be charged a 25% rush fee (if there is any availability).
Q: When can I schedule my pick up? A: Pick Ups are Monday - Friday ONLY! The week of your order, I will contact you to confirm what time you will be stopping by to ensure that works for me as well. Sticking to your arranged pick up time is greatly appreciated as I also work full time.
Q: Do you deliver? A: No
Q: Can you ship your cookies? A: My cookies are for local pick up only in China Spring, TX. It is illegal for me to ship my cookies due to the Cottage Food Law.
Q: Do you offer refunds? A: I am able to refund and cancel your cookie order up to 14 business days prior to your pick up date. No refunds will be given for cookies that have already been made, this includes holiday cookies. Any holiday cookies that are left 24 hours after the pickup times have ended will be forfeited with no refund unless other arrangements have been made with me.
Q: Can I see a sample of my cookie design before I confirm my order? A: Unfortunately, no. I will use your theme, colors and inspiration to the best of my ability to design the best set for your event/party, but the final design is up to me as the decorator to what I feel will work best within the medium of cookie decorating. If you have "must haves" for your cookie set, they should be described in your order form." (i.e. I want the cow to be pink and white instead of black and white.)
Q: How much are your cookies? A: Please see the Inquiry tab above.
Q: When is payment due? A: Payment is due within 48 hours of an invoice being sent. Cookie orders are not booked until they are paid. For very large orders I require a non-refundable deposit to hold the date.
Q: Do you provide discounts for large orders? A: Sorry, but no. I am a 1-person, part time bake shop operating out of my home. Homemade treats are not subject to economies of scale – it is not any easier to make 30 cookies than 12 cookies, and each cookie takes just as long as the previous, if not longer. That being said, please know that if you have a limited budget and need a large amount of cookies, I am more than happy to work with you to ensure we find a design option that works for you.
Q: Can you provide nut-free or gluten-free cookie options? A: Unfortunately I cannot at this time.
Q: Can I freeze your cookies? A: Yes! To freeze the cookies you will very carefully place them in a tub or ziploc (if using a Ziploc, I recommend putting a cookie sheet under it for stability). Rather than stacking them on top of one another, try stacking them on their sides. If your cookies are packaged in a box you can simply leave them in there and put the box in the freezer. You will then take them out of the freezer the night before you'll be needing them. *DO NOT open the container or ziploc until the cookies are completely thawed!* This is the most important step, opening the container may cause condensation and will ruin the cookies.
