Hi friend! I am so glad you're here!
I'm Lauren - small town girl from Crawford, TX. My dream of owning a bakery began when I was just a little girl. Growing up in a family full of great cooks, I quickly learned my way around the kitchen. Whether a family friend just had a baby, the neighbors lost a loved one, the church hosted a pot luck, or the school requested items for a bake sale - my mom was always the first one to whip up something delicious... and I took note. Food is one thing you have in common with everyone you meet. Everyone has a story worth sharing and I love sharing mine through food.. especially tasty treats. When you gather around the table with your loved ones and taste our desserts, my prayer is that you feel the love I felt in creating it with you in mind. Decorating sugar cookies began as a hobby in 2018. It was the perfect combination of my love of being in the kitchen and my desire to create something beautiful. A friend requested and paid for one dozen Halloween cookies. She shared them on social media and the rest is history. Sugar Doodles was soon created and my "little hobby" quickly became a business right before my eyes. Our cute name came from love of snickerdoodles and my sweet baby, Maybrie, a Goldendoodle. I'll forever be grateful for that first order. My books have been filled every week since and it hasn't stopped with sugar cookies. My team and I have since added gourmet cookies, Blue Bell ice cream, jumbo cinnamon rolls, brownies, rice krispies, cookie cakes, a food truck and so much more! I hope your interest in Sugar Doodles doesn't stop here. Come by the shop, order online, stop by a local market, book a class, or find us out and about in the food truck! We would love to see you. Thank you so much for your support. It truly means the world. Lauren Psalm 34:8 |

Cinnamon Roll Connoisseur Tyler & Lauren started dating in 2023 and Tyler jumped into the Sugar Doodles team with both feet.
He immediately received certification and began helping wherever needed. Love our jumbo cinnamon rolls? Tyler created those decadent masterpieces and is always brainstorming our next best seller. If he's not in the kitchen, you can find him pulling the trailer to the next event, rooting for his favorite team, or doing all the girl dad things with his daughter, Ava. Alexis started with Sugar Doodles in the heat of the Christmas crazy in 2023. What we thought was going to be "holiday help" quickly turned into an every day gig. Alexis is quick to lend a hand whether it's in the kitchen, in the store, at pop-up markets or in the food truck - she's truly a jack of all trades! When Alexis isn't at the bakery you can find her with her little girl, Paige, or scuba diving!

Tara began her time with Sugar Doodles in the fall of 2023 after introducing herself at the Junior League Deck the Halls market. Her mom had been a customer of ours for several years, so she was familiar with our products and wanted to join the team as soon as possible. Tara is currently a junior at Lorena ISD and plans to attend Tarleton State University next fall. When Tara isn't studying or playing softball, you can find her creating content for our social media platforms or working events - like our pop-ups at Courtney's Boutique.
